This year as we race to save more animals, we celebrate the life of an amazing human being, Curt Barnett, D.V.M.
On April 8, 2017, Dr. Barnett very unexpectedly left this world. He was an incredible friend, mentor, and enthusiastic supporter and advocate for Furry Friends Network. Words cannot express how privileged we are to have been touched by his kindness and compassion. Race for Their Lives 2017 is dedicated to his memory and celebrates Dr. Barnett’s life and love for animals and passion to help the homeless and unwanted. Through the thousands of animals he loved and cared for, we remember him.
Dr. Barnett was a faithful supporter of Furry Friends Network. In fact, in November 2014, he adopted his best friend Bodie from our program. He was also a regular sponsor of Race for Their Lives. Year after year, he helped Furry Friends Network make positive differences in the lives of thousands of animals by not only providing lifesaving medical care, but also by sponsoring our events. We hope you will help us carry on the memory of a man who worked tirelessly to help continue Furry Friends Network’s lifesaving mission.
