Each year, about 1.5 million dogs and cats are killed annually in our nation’s shelters. 

How to Adopt

1. Please read our Core Values prior to submitting an adoption application.
2. Complete our adoption application. Our volunteers then review the application and contact you.
3. The application process consists of contacting your personal and veterinarian references, contacting your landlord (as applicable), a personal interview and a home visit. The process will take approximately 2 weeks.
4. If your application is approved, a meet-n-greet with the animal and his/her foster family will be set up.
5. Finally, if it is a good match for both the animal and the applicant, a contract is signed and the animal officially has a new home.

Adoption Fees

Furry Friends Network adoption fees cover the cost of vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, preventative medicines and microchipping. Adoption fees are as follows and include PA sales tax.

$450.00 to adopt a puppy up to one year of age.
$425.00 to adopt a dog over 1 year of age to 10 years of age.
$250.00 to adopt a senior dog over age 10.

$125.00 to adopt a kitten up to one year of age.
$100.00 to adopt a cat over 1 year of age to 8 years of age.
$80.00 to adopt a cat over age 8.
